My favourite fairy tale has always been Beauty and the Beast, mainly because I really love the idea that—unlike what we’re told in other fairy tales—beauty does not equal good and ugly does not mean evil. It’s a complexity which is true to life. Similarly I LOVE the idea of a handsome villain. I think it also gives the author a lot of potential to add depth to the character and layering to his personality and backstory. Plus, in this case, Rik Young is soo not-hard-on-the-eyes. :) Robin, you need to write a book in which Rik Young could play the part of the villain in the movie. Just saying.

That is a very good question! I feel that a sexy villain IS creepier because you are attracted to them but you don't want to be but you can't help it so it makes you feel icky on the inside.

Excellent question. I think a handsome villain is even creepier, especially if he has ice-blue eyes. *shivers*
